Equipment composition
It consists of a fixed conical cylinder, a screw shaft and a
transmission device.
(1) Cylinder and transmission device. The conical cylinder is
welded from steel plates and fixed on a bracket. The cylinder does
not rotate during operation. There is a feeding port on the top
cover of the cylinder, a discharge port at the bottom, and a
discharge valve that can be opened and closed. The transmission
device consists of an electric motor and a cycloidal pinwheel
reducer, which is installed in the center of the top cover. The
cylinder volume is usually 1-2m³.
(2) Screw shaft. Two screw shafts are usually used, connected by a
rotating arm pull rod, symmetrically installed vertically near the
inside of the cylinder, driven by a transmission device, and
orbiting around the inner arm of the cylinder in a planetary
slow-speed manner. The speed is usually 5r/min, while the screw
shaft rotates rapidly at a speed of 110r/min.
Introduction
Screw-cone mixer refers to a mixing device that uses the rotation
of the screw shaft in the conical cylinder to stir the material. It
has a simple structure, low power consumption, and uniform mixing.
It is suitable for dry mixing of fine particles (or powders) and
various materials with small density differences.
Working principle
The spiral cone mixer is an intermittently operated mixing
equipment. The various materials to be mixed are added from the
feeding port at the top of the conical cylinder. The spiral shaft
installed in the cylinder rotates around the self-supporting axis
and performs planetary rotation along the inner wall of the
cylinder, turning the materials up and down, so that the materials
in the cylinder rotate planetarily with the spiral shaft to achieve
sufficient turning and mixing. The mixed materials are discharged
from the discharge valve at the bottom.
